“It takes courage to wake up out of the dream of who you thought you were. And waking up does not happen to someone who is fitting in and following the flock of sheep. It is a willingness to keep putting your head in the lion’s mouth. A willingness to risk it all in order to come alive. It is a willingness to live for the love of truth, no matter what. The love of truth and courage go hand in hand. You can not truly love truth, without the courage to die for it.”
― Unmani

In this webinar Unmani will speak about, and encourage you to wake up to the courage that is your true nature. Awakening is really about coming alive.  Acknowledging your deepest longing, and then living as that. It seems to require courage because it can be very uncomfortable and challenging at times. It can be full of wonder and joy, and also a mind-blowing kick in the stomach. Coming alive means really feeling life, and living fully without believing in the limitations and separations of thought. Feeling the ‘good’ feelings and the ‘bad’ feelings. Meeting whatever is here, whether it fits into your ideas or not. You may find that the ideas that you had about how life should be, are completely blown out of the window and all you are left with is the way it actually is. Free-falling moment to moment in not knowing how to live, and yet paradoxically absolutely knowing beyond all doubt.

This webinar is also the title of Unmani’s third book that will most likely be published sometime next year. For more information about Unmani’s meetings and intensive retreats see: www.die-to-love.com

Unmani invites you to answer your deepest calling to wake up to your true self. For the past 12 years, Unmani has been working with all kinds of people, who have been deeply touched by her work. She meets each person exactly where they are at, and in whatever they need at the time, while at the same time holding them in the truth of who they really are beyond it all. This combination, and paradox, of the personal and impersonal, brings so much depth, openness and healing to people’s lives. They wake up to who they really are, and discover how this is lived and integrated into their daily lives. Unmani Liza Hyde is the author ‘I am Life itself’ and ‘Die to Love’ and is now writing a third book. www.die-to-love.com

The Emergence Series is a constellation of conversations with SAND speakers and teachers, intended as an exploration of the emergence palpable in the collective field at this time and an opportunity to connect with others in our community holding a ‘large vision’ and dedicated to the evolution of consciousness on the planet.

Old structures are being shaken up, old stories have come to their limits, old systems are failing us. What is emerging, where do we go from here, how do we hold it all in the tenderness of the awakening heart? What wisdom do the worlds great lineages and traditions have for us and what does the meeting of science and nonduality contribute to the emergent conversation? How does a mystic respond to a world in crisis?

Through the magic of technology, the Emergence Series is open to the participation of the entire global SAND community, LIVE! There will be opportunities to have personal interaction and ask questions of our guests. Our intention with this online series is to foster conversation, connection and community in between conferences and to offer windows of contact, wisdom and heart.

We invite our teachers to engage us from a perspective of embodied, living wisdom, and offer practical guidance that can support us in our relationships, our work, our community and our world at this time.

Presenter

Unmani

Ever since childhood, Truth was Unmani’s only longing. She followed that longing all over the world. Unmani had several teachers, but the most significant was the German Zen master Dolano, in India.

In 2013 Unmani met the love of her life, the wonderful musician and courageous lover of life Robert Hanuman. They had a son called Sky. Becoming a mother deepened Unmani’s lived experience of the Truth in a very ordinary and grounded way. Then in January 2018, while in India, Robert Hanuman died from a sudden heart attack. Since then, Unmani has been sharing about grief and love, and how this heartbreak is also an endless heart-opening.

Unmani has been holding Meetings in Truth for 14 years. She meets each person in their personal experience, while at the same time holding them in the Absolute Truth of who they really are. This combination, and paradox, of the personal and impersonal brings depth, openness and healing to people’s lives. They wake up to who they really are, and discover how this is integrated into their daily lives.

Unmani is the author of I am Life itself and Die to Love and The Courage to Come Alive.
