Conscious Dreaming in Times of Uncertainty

Conscious Dreaming in Times of Uncertainty

With Fariba Bogzaran  •  Recorded Aug–Sept 2020

A 4-part Webinar Series

In these unpredicted times, deep existential and survival questions are at the forefront of our consciousness. We are facing a global pandemic, economic hardships, social change, and encountering our mortality.

More people are recalling their dreams, due to sleeping more. What is the role of dreams during this time? The structure of our life as we know it is changing. Even if it is temporary, the collective consciousness is impacted by these events.

In this four-week webinar, Dr. Bogzaran will work with the topics of sleep, dreams, and consciousness in sleep (lucid dreaming). Through her presentations, she will:

  • Give an in-depth description of the structure and experiences of a night's sleep
  • Discuss different categories of dreams
  • Examine lucid dreaming, its application and methods
  • Explore the connection between lucid dreaming and Dream Yoga
  • Discuss a variety of experiences, methods, and applications in lucid dreaming and how this practice directly connects with waking consciousness

There will also be experiential exercises.

Exploring the depth of consciousness through dreams and lucid dreaming as a practice of self-reflection are a path to integrate the wisdom of the inner worlds with the challenges of the outer world. Breaking habits, something which we are forced to do in the current conditions, is one of the practices of lucid dreaming and lucid living. This integration of the inner and the outer brings awareness to our daily life and shows how to be present on all levels of our existence.
