How Generational and Early Life Trauma Shape Our Lives

Video with

With Scott Kiloby, Richard Miller, Mark Wolynn and Ajaya Sommers; facilitated by Julie Yau.

Along with distorting our fundamental view about the world, and the emergence of trau- matic symptoms, unresolved trauma limits our capacity to be fully present; our potential and capacity for real love and intimacy are blocked, as is the ability to feel the intrinsic aliveness, vibrancy, and joy of our being. The lifelong impact of these traumas is largely misunderstood. The panel will highlight some of the significant elements of trauma, whether experienced early in life or inherited epigenetically, that shape our lives; how trauma may continue to affect the lives of our family; and possibilities for healing.
