The SAND Italy Gathering is held on the fantastic property of the small medieval village of Titignano. Titignano today is a modern estate surrounded by 2,000 hectares of forest, woods, vineyards and olive groves. Located on the hills between Orvieto and Todi, Castello di Titignano (Castle of Titignano) holds a favorable vista position, dominating the valley below and overlooking the enchanting Lake Corbara. The site offers breathtaking views and an exquisite old-world experience.
The site offers beautiful terraces from which to enjoy the view, and a swimming pool to cool off in the summer.
The Castle hosts about 130 people in 40 rooms throughout. You can add the option of staying at the Castle for the event when you register and purchase your ticket. We have a variety of rooms available on a first-come-first-served basis: a few single rooms, doubles, triples, and shared rooms (4-6). Rooms at Titignano do not have a/c but are equipped with a fan. While the days can get rather hot during the summer, nights tend to be cooler.
There are also camping options at the Castle, either with your own tent/campervan or by renting a tent from SAND for the event (bedding options available as well for campers).
