Michael HarnerFounder of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies
Michael Harner is widely acknowledged as the world’s foremost authority on experiential and practical shamanism and shamanic healing, and has had an enormous influence on both the academic and lay worlds. The founder and president of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, he pioneered the introduction of shamanism and the shamanic drum journey to contemporary life and is recognized as the world leader in this movement. In his over a half century of anthropological fieldwork, cross-cultural studies, experimental research, and firsthand experience, Dr. Harner arrived at the core methods of shamans worldwide. The applicability of this core shamanism to contemporary Westerners has been substantiated by the experiences of his thousands of students. The experiential methods are simple, safe, and have been used successfully by them with positive life-changing results. Honoring the oral tradition of indigenous shamans, for the last quarter of a century he has conveyed his shamanic knowledge primarily first-hand through teaching and experiential work rather than through writing. Today he and his staff annually teach thousands of students internationally who, in turn, introduce thousands more to shamanism. www.shamanism.org

Jeff FosterNonduality author
Jeff Foster graduated in Astrophysics from Cambridge University in 2001. Several years after graduation, following a period of severe depression and illness, he became addicted to the idea of “spiritual enlightenment”, and embarked on an intensive spiritual search which lasted for several years. The spiritual search came to an absolute end with the clear seeing that there is only ever Oneness. In the clarity of this seeing, life became what it always was: spontaneous, clear, joyful and fully alive, and Jeff began to write and talk about "nonduality" (which he often calls "the utterly, utterly obvious"). He holds meetings and retreats in the UK and Europe, clearly and directly pointing to the frustrations surrounding the spiritual search, to the nature of mind, and to the Clarity at the heart of everything. His uncompromising approach, full of humor and compassion, shatters the mind’s hopes for a future awakening, revealing the awakening that is always already present, right in the midst of life. www.lifewithoutacentre.com

Kenneth D. Johnsonwww.ThisSacredSpace.org
For thirty-one years Kenny Johnson's most fervent desire was to hear his name "ringing in the streets" as a hustler, thief, and pimp. Beginning in his early teens, he was arrested thirty-seven times and spent the majority of those years in prison. Running parallel with that desire was a persistent seed of spiritual longing that would not leave him alone. In 1995, while still behind prison walls, Kenny experienced a spiritual awakening so profound that it transformed not only his prior conditioning as a criminal but his very field of consciousness. In the vast stillness that overwhelmed his mind and heart, he witnessed with intimate clarity the bondage the entire human experience is subject to and exactly where eternal freedom can be found. As a speaker and an author, he now shares that understanding intimately with his audiences. Kenny is currently the founder of "This Sacred Space," a non-profit organization that facilitates meditation and self-inquiry groups both in and out of prisons. Kenny is the author of the newly relsead book "The Last Hustle".

Bentinho MassaroFounder of Free Awareness
Bentinho Massaro started seeking for Enlightenment around the age of 16. He did so by intensely seeking for some kind of permanent state and hoped to attain that through reading a lot of books, meeting teachers, going to India and practicing all kinds of meditations. In a sense he never succeeded in his quest for 'enlightenment', and yet he discovered exactly what he was actually looking for... He noticed directly more so every single day, that every single one of his experiences never really left a mark anywhere. Nothing ever sticks in this natural space of being. Every experience was recognized to be an effortless, translucent coming and going within awareness. Even 'enlightenment' turned out to be an idea coming and going intermittently, with no actual reality to it other than being a thought arising in what is truly always present... Awareness.
The freedom that this recognition released, became more self-evident by the day, and so continuously subtle ideas and mis-perceptions started to dissolve in this clear light of awareness. The seeking-tendency relaxed as well, since it was now obvious that there had never been any other place, state or experience, than this natural presence of awareness. Nothing is ever known outside of this moment, and so there was nothing to achieve outside of this moment. The imaginary sense of separation, also dissolved. Now every experience is naturally pervaded by the loving presence of free awareness. Website: www.free-awareness.com

PRADEEP APTE, PHDSadhaka My spiritual quest is briefly described in the Prologue of my book ‘The Nisargadatta Gita’ which is available as a book and for free downloads at: http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/the-nisargadatta-ultimatum/16796171 All I can say about myself is that I am a Sadhaka (Spiritual practitioner) following the Sadhana as I understood it from the teachings of my Guru Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. Over the years since I first came across his teachings in 2004, the intensity of the Sadhana has grown. Studying his dialogues available in different books has been a part of the Sadhana and I have always tried to present these works in different ways which can be viewed on my blog: http://thenisargadattasadhana.blogspot.com/. The Sadhana goes on and now seems to have fully occupied my life, if anything has happened in the process, I do not know nor is there a desire to know. Nevertheless, for sustenance, as a Biochemist I am one of the directors and Lab in-charge at Medicare Hospital and Research Center Indore (MP) India.

Peter Francis DziubanAuthor/lecturer on Consciousness
Peter Francis Dziuban (pronounced Juban) is an author and lecturer on spirituality and nonduality—although he prefers not to be placed in any category or tradition.
Peter’s work speaks from the perspective of nondual Infinity. It places particular emphasis on the fact that all that is, the entirety of existence, actually has had no prior history of being. While it may appear as if there has been a past and a continuity of time, Life actually is “brand-new,” or history-less, with nothing prior having occurred—not even Life Itself or Awareness have been “before.” Here, there are no categories; there really has been no prior background of traditions, and no one to label things as such. There is only pristine, pure, never-before-ness.
Peter’s book, Consciousness Is All, and other writings are a thorough examination of this subject, with an experiential bias, enabling readers to experience for themselves. He lectures around the country and maintains a website www.ConsciousnessIsAll.com and blog, “Reality Check.” He is currently doing new writing on the “never-before-ness” of Life.

Catherine Pépin, Ph.D.Theoretical Physicist, Institute of Theoretical Physics, Saclay, France
Catherine is a French theoretical physicist working in the field of Quantum Emergent phenomena. Quantum Field theory, complexity and emergence are the key words of this research where quantum physics, originally designed to describe the realm of the microcosm, is found to emerge at the macroscopic scale in the form of very mysterious and spectacular phenomena. Catherine obtained her PhD from the University of Grenoble and the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (France), in 1996. From 1996 to 1998 she was a post doctorate research fellow at MIT (USA), followed by two years at Brasenose College, Oxford University (UK). Since 2001, she is permanent research scientist at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Saclay, France. Author of more than 50 scientific publications in Quantum Field Theory and Condensed Matter Physics, she is a Leader Research Scientist of her institution since 2007. In 2005, she received a strong spiritual call which told with no doubt that in addition to the wonders of Scientific endeavour, there is an unmistakable Otherness, a presence impalpable to the mind. Her spiritual quest thus started in June 2006 with the meeting of late Stephen Jourdain'. During the year 2007, she went through a Shamanic initiation involving Iboga and Ayahuasca, the African and South Amazon sacred plants known to open doors of the Spirit. She met spiritual teacher Andrew Cohen in march 2008 and since then is a student of his teaching of Evolutionary Enlightenment. She believes the spiritual call received in 2005, while she was still a fundamentally materialistic scientist, was not an accident . It was an experience of a universal longing in the human Soul for a deep and uncompromising re-union of Science and Spirit.

Through the exclusive use of question-and-answer, silence, self-investigation and humor, I facilitate experiences that allow you to celebrate who you are. I cannot teach you who you are. That is absurd and impossible. All I can do is help you remember something you might have forgotten:
1. You are one of kind.
2. You are equipped with an incredible, creative ability to problem-solve.
3. Your innate curiosity is a vibrant expression of awe and wonder.
4. You are intimately connected to formless Love.
It is this possibility of constantly deepening this connection to Love that has driven my work since 2009.www.benjamintsmythe.com
