Living the Felt Sense of Oneness: From Reaction to Relaxation

We know our true nature, and yet the body mind still offers old-fashioned services. We gaze, we don't touch it, we watch it all arise and subside. But the mind still thinks it is the mind, the body still pretends it is an object subject to death. And the swirling elementals of emotion buffet the stillness. What to do? Well, we give it inner satsang. Originally, conditioning was in service to role play and experience. Now, it is in service to invoking us as the universal solvent. This all-pervading warm clarity that brings everything to rest.

I wondered why, after six or more years into the unfoldment, my mind was still identified under pressure. Wondering inside, stillness said, "You forget to show your mind its true nature." So the body mind will insist we help it return to its naturalness. Form is now in service to informing the formless. High spiritual standards give way to practical being with and noticing what allows for relaxation and what maintains tension. As modern sages we are practical, and follow our own resonance. We have not left the world behind, we have returned for the world to bring it all home.
