F. David Peat
David Bohm and the search for wholenessFrom childhool David Bohm was consumed with the search for wholeness, the physical
world, society, between mind and body and most importantly within himself.
His journey took him from Oppenheimer at Berkley, Einstein at Princeton and finally
London where is encountered Jiddu Krishnamurti. His other concern was what he saw as
the fragmentation in the world around him and in particular within the physics of
his day which led him to the notion that the world around us of hard and fast objects,
is just a surface phenomenon that unfolds out of a deeper Implicate Order.
He also explored the fagmentation of the individual and society via his Dialogue process
and sought a deeper unification of matter and psyche.
